March Makeup Favorites

To be honest, I’m not the type of person who buys a ton of new makeup every month. When I like something, I usually stick with it until it runs (completely) out and I feel like trying something different. So, I probably won’t have a ton of stuff to show y’all every single month. But, I can show you what I’ve been using a lot- whether it’s brand new or a rediscovery.

Tarte Guard SPF 30– Alright ladies, we all know how important SPF is. Those of us who live in the south probably realize it’s importance more so than others. But, this product does the job for me. It’s quick, I don’t feel it under my makeup, and it smells good. I like it more than other face sunblocks because it is made to disappear under your makeup- so there is no fear of looking oily.

Tarte Water Foundation I’ve been looking for a new foundation for a while now. My skin has really cleared up and I don’t ever feel like putting on foundation anymore. This foundation is super light but offers enough (I’d say light to medium) coverage to make me feel good. Plus it has an SPF of 15, so it will give you some sun protection during your day to day activities.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Style Icon No. 7  (Lolita)– Spring  has sprung and I have been liking a more fresh eye look. This palette comes with a couple matte transition shades, with a few shimmers to give you many options for spring.

NYX blush in Taupe– Finding the right contour color has been a struggle for me. A lot of them just look orange on my skin. But this NYX blush has the perfect cool undertone to actually look like a shadow. (The picture on the website makes it look shimmery but it is matte in real life)

CND Rescue Rxx Keratin Treatment: Technically this is not makeup but it’s still relevant. My nails are super brittle, and I’m taking a break from the nail salon to give them time to breathe. Then I found this! This tiney tiny bottle is a keratin oil that you put all over your nails every day, and its actually really working for me. I’ve noticed my nails are longer (because they’re not constantly breaking) and they actually feel strong.

Other than that, I’ve been pretty much using the same old stuff. Stay tuned for my March Hair Favorites, and let me know what you’ve been loving or what products I should try next.
