Ok, I was really really really excited to try this product our because A) I work with my hands and need long wearing nails and B) I don’t ever have time to make it to the nail salon to get my nails done on a regular basis (and when I do have time, I don’t feel like it) So, I thought it would be the holy grail nail polish that would change my life forever. But, to be 100% honest with y’all, I was underwhelmed.
I’ll start off by saying that the product itself isn’t bad at all! If I didn’t do hair and didn’t constantly have my hands in hair or water, it would be awesome! But, unfortunately, I think the product was too hyped for its own good.
I chose the shade Terra Coppa because, lets face it, shimmery nails are always cute. I applied it as the directions (on the Sally Hansen website) and a couple other blogs recommended and I noticed that my nails had already chipped within 2 days. I was super upset because the nail polish and the top coat cost me almost as much as a normal manicure and didn’t last very long at all.
As I said, I’m positive that this works for a lot of people (who don’t constantly have their hands in water), and they have a really gorgeous extensive color selection. It’s just not my cup of tea (I’ll probably still use it because I really do like the color) Let me know what your go-to manicure is! Also, let me know if you have any ideas on how I can make this polish last!
