November Favorites

Another month has passed! This month was pretty crazy for me with a spontaneous trip (you can read about it here) and going into the holiday season as a hair stylist is always hectic so I haven’t had a lot of time to buy and actually give products a fair trial (and I’ve been in a little bit of a makeup rut), so I haven’t tried too many new products. Sooo, some of these aren’t exactly new, but I have been loving them a lot (in particular) this month.

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation

This has been the foundation that I’ve been using for the entire fall season so far. I really like how this just evens out my skin tone without looking like I’m wearing a ton of makeup. I would say that it is a medium coverage, which is what I like, but with the right concealer, you can build it to have that flawless finish.

RCMA No Color Powder

Although this powder got my luggage searched going through customs (no joke- they thought it could be drugs) It is still one of my favorites this month. Some powders make me look really cakey, really fast. But when I “bake” with this one, it just leaves the thinnest layer on my skin and sets my concealer to make it last all day.

Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick in Damned

I got a sample size of this lipstick in (this) Sephora bundle of bold lip colors. Anyone who knows me would know that I am a total sucker for a good vampy lip color. But, this color still looked super intimidating  in the tube. Luckily, it looks AMAZING on, it’s a super dark berry

Ted Baker Gold Eyeshadow Crayon

I got this gift set from Boots, while I was abroad and for the price, I wasn’t expecting too much. But, so far, all of the products have exceeded my expectations and I’ve been using the gold eyeshadow crayon as a base for other gold shadows to make them pop and also just by itself. It’s so creamy and shiny and I love it.

Boots Acne Spot Treatment

This actually saved my skin a few weeks ago. My skin is sensitive and gets angry when I deviate from my routine. So, it’s always angry when I travel (from the change in air, weather, time etc…) This time, I had a zit the size of Mars right in the middle of my face (I know, how unfortunate) So, I ran to Boots and went on a search for something to help my poor face and I found this day/night treatment. I love how convenient it is to have both treatments together in one stick to get rid of the problem ASAP.

Let me know what you guys love. I am seriously struggling to find products that I’m actually excited about (which is crazy for me). So I really really really would appreciate your recommendations (or just tag me in your favs post!) As always, thanks for reading! I love y’all.
