Do you guys ever have the problem where your parents/friends/S.O. ask you what you want for christmas, and you draw a complete blank? Then when you get home you realize that you actually would really love a new keurig. It happens to me constantly, and we are raised in a society where it’s taboo to actually voice what you want, so you end up with stuff that you A) don’t like/ won’t use or B) already have. Wasn’t it so much easier when Santa had it all covered? Well, to kick of Blogmas this year (Yeah, jumped on that bandwagon- we’ll see how long it lasts) I decided to make a concrete wishlist, which is something I haven’t done since I was a kid, and honestly, I feel like a kid doing it (In the best, excited for Christmas) way.
Black ankle boots
I don’t have a specific pair that I’m lusting after (yet) But, I’m sure I’ll find a pair next time I window shop my way through Nordstroms. Black ankle boots are a HUGE staple in my life. They’re perfect for every occasion from work to a night out.
Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics ($54)
I’ve been really into matte shadows lately, and since I have hit pan on a couple of my favorites from my little Naked Basics, I thought it could be time to replenish the stash and get the big one.
Weekend bag
Once again, I don’t have a specific one in mind (I’m really not as helpful as I thought I would be) Long story short, I had a carry on duffle style weekend bag (the same shape as the really expensive Louis vuitton one but in a newspaper pattern) and it broke while I was in Ireland this summer and I had to dump it (sad face). So, I just really want to replace it to make my travelling life easier.
Clarins Comfort Lip Oil ($25)
I feel like I’m super late to the party on this one. I’ve seen it in about 10 different monthly favorites, so I’m pretty sure that means it’s legit. Basically, it’s a super moisturizing lip balm/gloss treatment which sounds perfect in the super cold months.
Farmhouse Fresh Pudding Apeel Mask ($22)
I have such a hard time with my skin texture, it’s never as smooth as I want it to be. So, this mask will gently remove any dead skin and promises to “improve texture over time” which I am READY for. This brand is SO cool, and I literally want everything so there’s no such thing as a bad gift. Plus, the brand donates money to animal charities with every purchase which is super nice. (#savethepuppies)
I am super in the Christmas spirit this year (maybe because I’ve had about 100 pepermint mochas so far) So this year I am really going to try to stick to the whole Blogmas thing (wish me luck!) Let me know, what posts do you want to see? What are you excited for this year?
