The Christmas Tag

Blogmas is almost to an end! I thought it would be appropriate to start wrapping this series up with a classic Christmas tag (also, my pictures for the post I was about to write look terrible so I needed to come up with something quick, sorry!) 1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?

I watch the movie, Oliver! Every Christmas (so that counts even though it’s not technically about Christmas) and The Grinch is another one of my favorites. (I relate to him in so many ways)

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

We do a gag gift that we open on Christmas Eve but we do all of the main stuff on Christmas morning

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?

One Christmas, we got our dog frosting covered dog treats. But my dad didn’t get the memo and ate a few. (He thought they were a little too hard for his liking)

4. Favourite festive food?

I am 100% a pecan pie kind of girl. But savory food-wise I love broccoli cheddar casserole. (Which is what I mainly eat because I don’t eat meat)

5. Favourite Christmas gift?

I technically haven’t gotten them yet, but I have been lusting after a pair of Alexander Wang ankle boots, and my mom swooped them up during a crazy flash sale and I am SO EXCITED.

6. Favourite Christmas scent?

I actually hate cinnamon scents, so as far as Christmasy scents go, I gravitate towards sweeter sugary smells.

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?

We normally eat dinner together and open our funny gifts, then spend the night playing card games until we go to bed *to wait for Santa*

8. What tops your tree?

This is actually a really funny story. Last year we couldn’t find our tree topper, and my mom was upset that we didn’t have an angel. So, I decided to cut out some paper to look like Castiel from Supernatural, and we liked it so much that he is there again this year. (He spends the off-season on a wine bottle) *bonus points if you get the reference*

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?

I always asked for more pets. I got one for my 6th birthday and wanted another one every year after. (It’s a good thing I didn’t get them, or else I would literally have a zoo)

10. What’s the best part about Christmas for you?

I just really like having a day that we are all home and relaxing together. My sister and I usually start binge watching movies or a new TV show. So for me, it’s all about slowing our busy lives down for one day to be together.
