Now that the spring launches are all out, it’s finally time to decide which products I like the best and need in my life. I am such a planner that I have to wait until I see everything to make sure that I will be getting the BEST possible products this season has to offer me (because I really don’t need 4 new eyeshadow palettes every single season even when I want them) SO, I wanted to put together a list of the things that I find the most exciting/useful for the spring and summer months! Let me know what else I should try in the comments!
This palette was a love at first sight for me. Last year, I spent a lot of time trying to find the perfect travel palette that I know I will be able to use for everyday looks, as well as, jazz it up if I want to and this palette really fits the bill for me. It has the NUDES it has the GOLDS it has the SHIMMER and the pops of colors that I think will make very versatile looks. I have been loving what I have seen other bloggers/vloggers doing on their social medias so I consider this a must have.
I don’t know about y’all but I haven’t heard too much about Jouer’s liquid lipsticks until recently. But, while I was browsing, I couldn’t stop clicking on Guava. The website describes it as a warm metallic muted tangerine color, which I think will look beautiful in the summer sun. I have also been wanting to try a metallic lip, so I think this would be perfect to try!
If you don’t know what this is then I don’t know where you have been because it’s been blowing up the internet. I personally don’t own any highlight palettes because I know that I will only use one or two colors and the others would be a total waste. BUT, as far as I’ve seen, every single color in this palette is super pigmented and totally wearable.
I know these aren’t new, new, but I thought they deserved a shout out because they’re perfect for the “festival” makeup trend that’s floating around the internet. I also like to use them to add a little bit of pizazz to my makeup if I feel like trying something different.
All pale girls rejoice! For YEARS I have been hearing about the Hoola bronzer being the best bronzer ever invented (is that dramatic or what?) But, it does absolutely nothing for me. It just looks like I rubbed Cheetos into my face which is not a good look. But now I can hop on this band wagon and I am ridiculously excited to get my hands on it!
We ALL know how Tarte brushes are just superior to most brands. They have the high quality at an affordable cost and last forever.(unlike the cheaper level brushes that fall apart in a month) So, it’s a no-brainer that I am excited about the unicorn themed set from them. I think that they will be a daily reminder to have a magical day. Plus they’re really soft and pretty. What more could you want?
During the summer months, I really like to tone down my makeup to get out of the door quicker. So, I normally sweep a shimmery color or two onto my lid to give me an effortlessly chic look. No one can deny that these colors aren’t totally on trend and I think it would be a great addition to my collection of matte palettes to mix and match to give my lid some shimmer every once in a while.
Ok, first of all, I want all of the colors. But, I’m trying to stay practical and grab the one that I think I will use the most which is Kitten. Kitten is a beautiful champagne color that literally works with everything. The product is a liquid metal/glitter hybrid that is SUPER pigmented and long wearing. I have been needing a little bit of sparkle in my life, so I am VERY excited to try this one out. (and then buy all of them)
Marc Jacobs will forever be one of my all time FAVORITE brands. This highlighter is a little bit of a splurg at $44 BUT a little goes a long way and I feel like it will last forever. The color is a very natural warm golden peach which will make it look like you just walked off of the beach and I think it will be amazing mixed in with a foundation to give a natural glowy finish. AND it has 5 kinds of coconut and b5 to hydrate the skin (which sounds good to me)
I feel like I have been typing for 10 years, so hopefully, this was a detailed and informative post. Let me know if you’ve tried any of these- what should I buy and what should I not? I need your opinion!
